This is the daily dose of Dawn at dawn number 66. Videos designed to expand your thinking.
Having narcolepsy is hard, but I had a lot of things in my life that were non-narcolepsy related that were draining me, making my life even harder. And I'm going to share some of those things with you today. If you identify with them, you can get to work on them and you'll help yourself feel better inside of yourself.
Everybody messes up, but if you feel your feels and keep your feet out of the fire, you fare better and you make it through the other side a lot faster. And that's why I'm doing all these videos. I have over 200 if you want to go check out some of the other ones when you're done with this one.
When you feel bad about yourself, it makes things worse inside of yourself. If you're not able to complete something and it makes you feel bad about yourself, that brings on symptoms in your body. If you forgot to do something and you call yourself stupid, you get mad at yourself, filled with adrenaline, and now you need a nap.
You're so worried about what's going to happen with that thing that it makes you sick to your stomach. Not saying the thing you need to say is making your allergies go crazy, making your skin crawl.
When we spend our lives feeling the fire of the past, the present, our upbringing, the relationship issues we have in our lives, it takes away from how we feel about ourselves. Not necessarily makes you feel bad, but it takes your focus away from feeling good about yourself.
Accountability is super important, but every time you don't feel good about yourself, you're hurting yourself. And give yourself grace. Show up for yourself. Stop making things harder than they have to be.
