I love listening to thought leaders who fill my head with ideas to expand my thinking. Curiosity is so good for personal growth.
There’s a general theme to a couple of them – feel good to manifest your desires.
When we’re so bogged down by our circumstances, our desires can seem light years away – they did for me for like 41 years.
I would hear… stay in a good mood to manifest your desires and that would go great until my body would scream at me about something… and I’d feel like I would never be able to get my desires living in a faulty meatsuit… with a sleep deprived brain that likes to rollercoaster my emotions.
Along the way I realized – when I feel good about myself everything is easier to deal with… even if my body or brain aren’t cooperating.
This may seem like common sense but I didn’t get it – so I’m going to spell it out for those of us who haven’t made this perspective shift yet.
If you are… dealing with chaos, chronic issues, financial pressure – and you are… beating yourself up, stressed to losing hair, lamenting to whomever will listen – you’re literally hurting yourself physiologically.
So, when you hear “happy matters” it’s designed to help you remember that whether you take something on as a victim or a champion – dictates how much you’re supporting your whole self through the circumstances.
We feel our feels but keep our feet out of the fire.
Who better to protect us and our mental wellbeing, than us?
