How I stopped comparing myself to others.
Look to others for inspiration, not approval.
Look at things you like as resonance
Look at things you don’t like as redirection

Most of my life I’ve felt like I was standing outside looking in – I used to think literally everyone was doing ‘better’ than me at humaning. Sleep deprivation + trauma is a truly wicked combo. I had to teach myself how to love myself (shrug) and it only took me 50 years! For real, no joke. Which means, no matter how old you are you can learn how to lead yourself with love. If you need help, call me, I’m amazing at it now.
Some mindset magic strategies that helped me to repeat:
Authenticity + Vulnerability = Genuineness & it’s a superpower.
Desiderata: If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Even the girl in the magazine doesn’t look like the girl in the magazine.
Looking around my life and going – love this, more of that. Less of that.
What you see in others is not necessarily what you get. Strive to be the best version of you that you can be and let everyone else do their thing.
