If you get stuck in hard feels - look away, break the spell.
Anxiety, anger, sadness.
I think the best example off this is when you're sobbing over something and your bestie cracks a joke and you laugh through your tears.
Pattern interrupting - it's one time ADHD is kinda helpful...
Sitting in your feels is a good healthy thing to do, but you're not supposed to pack a bag and move in.
When things get heavy, it's ok to take a break - you're not ignoring it - you're just holding a boundary with yourself about how long you'll sit in it.
Look at something that makes you smile, sing a song, go for a walk - change your perspective.
Why? Because you gotta live in your body. Enjoy it!
